Richard E. Cornell

Rick Cornell, CPA, is the managing partner of Cornell Kahler Shidell & Mair, PLLP where he heads its accounting and auditing practice. He has been actively involved in the not-for-profit industry as an auditor, consultant and volunteer.

He provides insightful business and financial consulting to his diversified clientele based on his 32+ years in public accounting.

Rick holds a BSB-Accounting degree from the University of Minnesota. He is a past member of the governing Council of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He also served on the Board of Directors fo the Minnesota Society of CPA's for 6 years, was its Treasurer for one year and was President fo that organization in 2000-2001. He is also a past president of the Minnesota Council of the Institute of Management Accountants and currently serves as Treasurer of the 621 Foundation.

Rick enjoys playing golf and he is a past President of Dellwood Hills Golf Club. His other recreational passion is for hunting and fishing. Family gatherings are high on Rick's list of things to do.
